Carol S: After a good bit of sleuthing today I determined that it has to do with "encoding." I suspect Bravenet updated some software that changed the encoding and it doesn't jive with the rest of what we are doing. However, for the moment, you can work around it in new posts by having only 1 space between sentences. Anywhere you put two spaces, you'll get one of those funny things. I did it without getting any tonight but that doesn't fix all the blog entries prior to tonight. I am in contact with
Carol S: Hi, I see that you seem to have the same funny squares between sentences that are showing up on my blog. Wonder what that's about?

Printer Drivers

I had a short love affair with Brother Drivers yesterday because I tried to install the printer/fax and....(I know there was something else it could do)....uhm...yes, it's a scanner too. My  brother-in-law gave it to us when we moved to our house. I think it's one of those used ones that he gets for a good deal, unfortunately, it doesn't come with an installation CD.  Good thing I found it online and I was able to install the BROTHER (how apt).

I found it at driveraccess.com, which is cool because through that website, you can also find a myriad of Computer Drivers and USB Drivers and a thousand more others (except for Taxi Drivers, hahaha) which I need because there is still one color printer that is waiting to be unearthed from one of our moving boxes. It's an HP Photosmart and I'm postive that the installer CD is nowhere to be found as well.

So...

Mission accomplished! I was able to print my little mission, which is to order a music sheet online and being able to print it out.  I got it for my dad who has been so thrilled and excited and can't wait to start playing it? The music? Mama Mia's Chiquitita by Abba.  I got the version from this online site based in UK and the arrangement is superb!

I just packed and sent it back home. Now, that really makes me happy!

Sorry if I haven't come here for a long time, I kinda took a break from blogging. I love Chiquitita, that's one of the better songs from ABBA.
